Matters Arising
- Quicks: Katrina Kerr has said that they are anticipating a new planning application soon
- Action: Fiona to put council contact details on the website so members could find who to contact with problems such as street cleanliness, ASB
- Jim reported that there was a breach of Article 4 directions at 4 Albion Place and had reported it to the Council. They said there was a backlog of planning applications. Action: Jim to forward their reply to our councillors. Action: Fiona to investigate where Article 4 directions can be found
Carols at Albion
Action: Christina to provide mulled wine and mince pies for an estimated 30 people
Website
It was agreed to transfer hosting to Matt Rowlands from Bluehost. He will then carry out maintenance including updates. Action: Fiona to communicate this to Matt
Neighbourhood Watch
Action: Jim to investigate what it entails and possibly invite someone who can promote it to the AGM
Pepper Street Car Park
David is still concerned about safety issues and has been in touch with the Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) for reassurance. Action: David to forward relevant documents to the CRMP and also councillors and also to write to Sam Dixon highlighting where the law regarding fire safety needs tightening (this follows discussions with fire safety officers who agreed that the legislation was not always strict enough)
CRAG
- Action: Jim to check up when BERA’s membership fee is due
- Action: Anne and David to chase up progress re subcommittees they had volunteered for
AGM
The date of 30th January was agreed
Actions:
- Bill to invite councillors
- Fiona to investigate suitable venue
- Fiona to inform members of AGM date when venue confirmed and vacancies on the exec
- Fiona to organise a leaflet drop nearer the time
AOB
Jim to put in comments to the licensing committee re the New Indian Restaurant on Pepper Street (AMNI) to ensure they conform with restrictions on other licensed premises in the area

If a meeting was needed before the AGM, then the 16th January was proposes. Otherwise AGM 30th January
