Good afternoon,
I’m writing because you have either previously been involved in Chester’s Spring Clean activities or have expressed an interest in getting involved in volunteering activities in Chester city centre. In the past. We have focused on completing activities over a short period of time (normally across 1 month), this year, we are looking to begin a yearlong programme of volunteering opportunities across the city.
Monday 20th / Tuesday 21st April 2026 – The Groves
Thursday 18th / Friday 19th June 2026 – The Walls
Monday 17th / Tuesday 18th August 2026 – The Rows
Monday 12th / Tuesday 13th October 2026 – The Subways
Thursday 25th / Friday 26th February 2027 – The Rows
I will give further detail on the exact programme of activities in each of the areas, but at the moment, it will include general cleansing, weed removal, graffiti removal and potentially some painting.
